Navigating the Platform

Get familiar with the Spojit platform layout, navigation, and key areas.

Overview

The Spojit app is organised around a left sidebar that lists the main work areas, a top bar with the account menu, and a context-aware AI chat panel on the right. Each sidebar item maps to one workspace-scoped concept - workflows, connections, knowledge, executions, approvals, settings.

Everything you see is scoped to the workspace you signed in to.

Sidebar Sections

  • Dashboard - home view with recent executions, workflow stats, and credit usage.
  • Workflows - create, organise, search, and filter all workflows in the workspace.
  • Connections - browse the connector catalog, add new connections, and manage authentication.
  • Knowledge - upload documents and manage knowledge collections used by Knowledge nodes.
  • Executions - step-by-step run history with filters by status, workflow, trigger type, and date.
  • Approvals - respond to pending Human Approval requests from running workflows.
  • Settings - workspace settings, members, billing, plan, audit log, and security.
  • Feedback - send feature requests or bug reports to the Spojit team.

Top Bar

  • Account menu (top-right) - profile, theme, and sign out.

AI Chat Panel

The AI chat sidebar is available on every page. It's context-aware: on the Dashboard it answers general questions, on the Workflow Designer it can read your canvas and modify nodes for you, and on Connections it can help you set up auth. Open it with the chat icon in the sidebar.

Tips

  • Keep the AI chat panel open while building workflows - it can add and wire nodes faster than dragging from the palette.
  • Theme defaults to dark; switch from the account menu in the top-right if you prefer light mode.

Common Pitfalls

  • Confusing Approvals (pending approval requests) with Executions (full run history). They show different things.
  • Expecting global search to span workspaces. Search is scoped to the active workspace only.
