Upgrading or Downgrading Your Plan

Change your subscription plan.

Overview

You can move between Spojit plans whenever your workspace's needs change. Upgrades take effect immediately so you get the new limits straight away, and downgrades wait until your current billing period ends so you do not lose anything you have already paid for.

All plan changes are managed from the Billing page in Settings, the same place where you update your payment method and buy credit top-ups. Only Owners can make these changes.

Before You Start

  • You need the Owner role on the workspace.
  • A valid payment method on file for any paid plan.
  • For downgrades, check your current usage against the lower plan's limits to avoid losing access to features or members.

Upgrading

  1. Open Settings -> Billing.
  2. Click Change Plan.
  3. Select the higher tier you want.
  4. Choose Monthly or Annual billing.
  5. Confirm the change. Spojit applies the new limits immediately and charges a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period.

Downgrading

  1. Open Settings -> Billing and click Change Plan.
  2. Select the lower tier.
  3. Confirm. The change is scheduled to take effect at the end of your current billing period.

You keep all current features until the cycle ends. On the renewal date, Spojit moves you to the new plan and starts billing at the lower rate.

Cancelling a Pending Change

A scheduled downgrade can be cancelled any time before it takes effect. On the billing page, look for the banner showing the pending plan change and click Cancel Change to keep your current plan.

Tips

  • If you are unsure about an upgrade, start with monthly billing. Switch to annual once your usage settles.
  • Before downgrading, archive workflows and remove members so you are inside the new plan's limits.
  • Use the usage graphs on the billing page to validate that the tier you are moving to actually fits your usage.

Common Pitfalls

  • Downgrades do not refund the current period. You pay through to the renewal date.
  • If a downgrade puts you over the new plan's member or workflow limits, the excess is not auto-removed - the downgrade may be blocked until you clean up.
  • Only Owners can change plans. Admins see the billing page but cannot trigger plan changes.
  • Plan changes apply to one workspace at a time. Repeat the steps in each workspace you manage.
