Inviting Team Members
Add people to your workspace.
Overview
Inviting a team member adds an external user to your workspace at a chosen role. They receive an email with a sign-up or sign-in link; once they accept, they appear in Settings -> Members and immediately get the access their role allows.
Seats are counted against your plan's member limit. Pending invitations don't consume a seat until the invitee accepts. You can revoke a pending invite at any time, and you can change a member's role after they've joined.
Before You Start
- You must be a workspace admin to invite or remove members.
- You need available seats on your plan. Check the seat count on Settings -> Billing before inviting in bulk.

Tips
- Invite by team rather than one address at a time when onboarding several people in the same function.
- Start new hires as Viewer while they learn the platform, then promote to Member once they're ready to edit.
- Audit the member list quarterly and remove anyone who no longer needs access.
Common Pitfalls
- The invite email can land in spam. Tell the invitee to look there if it doesn't arrive in a couple of minutes.
- Once you hit your seat cap, the Invite member button is disabled. Upgrade or remove someone first.
- Inviting an address that already has a Spojit account on another workspace adds them as a member of yours without creating a new account.
