Shopify and Knowledge: Product Label Q and A Template
A manual Spojit workflow embeds your Shopify OTC product descriptions into a Knowledge collection so retail staff can ask product questions and get cited answers.
What It Builds
A Manual trigger kicks off a run that pulls active over-the-counter product listings from Shopify and feeds each title, description, and label detail into a Knowledge node in Embed mode, building a persistent collection. Once embedded, staff query that same collection in plain language and get answers grounded in your real catalog, with the source product cited. This is retail and admin lookup only: no clinical or medical advice.
The Prompt
Paste this into Miraxa and it builds the workflow, connecting the tools for you:
Build a manual workflow that fetches all active over-the-counter products from Shopify, then embeds each product's title, description, and label details into a persistent Knowledge collection called "OTC Product Labels" so my retail staff can ask questions like "which allergy tablet is non-drowsy?" and get answers that cite the specific product.
Connectors Used
- Manual trigger - you start the embed run on demand, for example after a catalog update.
- Shopify - reads active OTC product listings and their descriptions.
- Knowledge - embeds the product text into a reusable collection and answers staff queries with citations.
Customize It
Change the product filter in the prompt (a collection, tag, or vendor) to limit which items get embedded, rename the OTC Product Labels collection, or adjust the example question to match how your team actually asks. You can also re-run the Manual trigger whenever the catalog changes to refresh the collection.
Tips
- Your Shopify connection needs read access to products for the fetch to succeed.
- Use a persistent collection (not Transient) so staff can query it across many sessions without re-embedding.
- For the staff-facing query step, the Knowledge node in Query mode can take a Response Schema if you want answers in a fixed structure.
