Mailhook and Monday: Client Change-Request Email to Board Template

Turn forwarded client change-request emails into tracked items on the right Monday board, automatically.

What It Builds

A Mailhook trigger gives the workflow its own inbound email address. When a client change request lands there (forwarded by your team), an Agent-mode Connector node reads the message, extracts the requested change, summary, and project name, then a Monday node creates an item on the matching board so nothing slips through the inbox.

The Prompt

Paste this into Miraxa and it builds the workflow, connecting the tools for you:

Build a workflow with a Mailhook trigger that receives forwarded client change-request emails. Use an Agent-mode step to read each email and extract a short title, the requested change, and the project name. Then create an item on the matching project board in Monday with the title, set a Status column to "New", and put the requested change and the sender's email in the item's notes.

Connectors Used

  • Mailhook - the trigger; gives the workflow a dedicated inbound email address that fires on every forwarded message.
  • Monday - creates the change-request item on the right project board with status and notes.

Customize It

In the prompt, change the Status value ("New") to match your board, swap which fields land in the item title versus notes, or have Miraxa map the extracted project name to a specific board ID. You can also ask it to add a priority column or tag the requester.

Tips

  • Have your team forward (not BCC) so the original sender shows in the email body for Spojit to capture.
  • Agent mode handles messy, free-text requests well; use Direct mode if your emails follow a strict template.
  • Add a Status filter on the board so new items surface for triage immediately.
