Monday and Resend: Weekly Client Project Status Template

A ready-made Spojit template that reads your Monday.com board every week, drafts a plain-language status summary, and emails it to each client through Resend from your own domain.

What It Builds

A Schedule trigger fires once a week and a Connector node reads the project items from your Monday board. An Agent-mode Connector node turns the raw item data (status, owner, due date, recent updates) into a friendly, plain-language summary written for clients rather than internal staff. A final Resend step emails that summary to each client contact from your verified domain, so updates land on schedule without anyone writing them by hand.

Customize It

Change the day and time in the prompt to suit your reporting cadence, name the exact Monday board or group to read, and adjust which fields feed the summary (add budget, blockers, or next steps). You can also set the tone, for example "keep it to three bullet points" or "include a one-line risk note", all without writing a second prompt.

Tips

Verify your sending domain in Resend before the first run so client emails do not land in spam.
Use Agent mode for the summary step so it adapts to whatever item data is present; keep the Monday read and Resend send in Direct mode for predictable, low-cost calls.
Store each client's email in a Monday column so the workflow can address every status to the right contact.
