MarketMan and Slack: Daily Vendor Order Summary Template

Each morning this Spojit template gathers the previous day's MarketMan vendor orders and posts a totals-by-vendor summary to your procurement Slack channel.

What It Builds

A Schedule trigger fires every morning on a cron you choose, in your own time zone. A MarketMan Connector node pulls the prior day's purchase orders, a Transform node groups and totals them by vendor, and a Slack Connector node posts the formatted summary to your procurement channel. No one has to log in and tally orders by hand.

The Prompt

Paste this into Miraxa and it builds the workflow, connecting the tools for you:

Build a workflow that runs every weekday at 7am and pulls yesterday's vendor purchase orders from MarketMan, totals the order amount and line-item count for each vendor, and posts a summary to the #procurement Slack channel listing each vendor with its total spend and number of orders, plus a grand total at the bottom.

Connectors Used

  • Schedule trigger - runs the workflow each morning on a 5-field cron in your time zone.
  • MarketMan - retrieves the previous day's vendor purchase orders.
  • Slack - posts the totals-by-vendor summary to your channel.

Customize It

Change the run time and days in the prompt (for example daily at 6am or only Monday), swap #procurement for your own channel, and adjust which fields appear: add the vendor contact, the largest single order, or a flag for any vendor over a spend threshold you set.

Tips

  • Give the Slack connection access to the exact channel you name, and invite the Spojit app to private channels.
  • Keep the MarketMan node in Direct mode for a clean, no-AI-cost pull of a known report.
  • Confirm the Schedule time zone matches your venue so "yesterday" lines up with your business day.
