Stripe and Slack: Daily Payments Recap Template
A daily scheduled workflow that tallies yesterday's Stripe activity and posts a clean revenue recap straight to a Slack channel.
What It Builds
A Schedule trigger fires once a day on a cron you set. A Stripe Connector node pulls the previous day's charges and refunds, a Transform node sums gross charges, total refunds, and net revenue, and a Slack Connector node posts the formatted recap to your chosen channel. No one has to open a dashboard to know how yesterday went.
The Prompt
Paste this into Miraxa, Spojit's intelligent layer, and it builds the workflow and connects the tools for you:
Build a workflow that runs every day at 8am and looks at all Stripe charges and refunds from the previous day. Add up the gross charges, the total refunds, and the net revenue, then post a recap to the #finance channel in Slack showing each total, the number of successful payments, and the number of refunds.
Connectors Used
- Schedule trigger - runs the recap once a day on a cron in your timezone.
- Stripe - fetches the prior day's charges and refunds.
- Slack - posts the formatted recap message to a channel.
Customize It
Change 8am to your reporting hour, swap #finance for the channel you watch, and adjust which totals appear (add average order value, top currency, or a count of failed payments). You can also widen the window from one day to a week for a Monday morning summary, all by editing the prompt before you build.
Tips
- Use the Stripe node in Direct mode so each run pulls the same fields with no AI cost.
- Make sure your Stripe connection has read access to charges and refunds, and that Spojit can post to the target Slack channel.
- Set the Schedule timezone explicitly so "yesterday" lines up with your books, not UTC.
