Monday and Resend: Escalation Status Update Email Template

A Spojit template that reads open items from your Monday escalations board on a daily schedule and emails each affected customer a branded progress note through Resend.

What It Builds

A Schedule trigger fires once a day and a Monday connector node pulls the open items from your escalations board. A Loop node walks each item, and for every escalation a Resend connector node sends the customer a status update from your own verified domain. People with escalated tickets get a proactive progress note without anyone drafting it by hand.

The Prompt

Paste this into Miraxa and it builds the workflow, connecting the tools for you:

Build a workflow that runs every morning, reads all open items from my Monday escalations board, and for each item sends the affected customer a branded status update email through Resend from my domain that includes the ticket title, current status, and a short progress note.

Connectors Used

  • Schedule trigger - runs the workflow once a day on a cron you set.
  • Monday - reads open items, status, and customer details from your escalations board.
  • Resend - sends each branded status update email from your verified domain.

Customize It

In the prompt, change the run time (for example, every two hours instead of every morning), name the exact board or status column that marks an item as open, and adjust which fields land in the email (owner, last update, or expected resolution date). You can also tell Miraxa to skip items updated within the last day so customers only hear from you when something changes.

Tips

  • Verify your sending domain in Resend first so status updates land in the inbox, not spam.
  • Use a Connector node in Direct mode for the Monday read and the Resend send when the fields are fixed, so there is no AI cost per run.
  • Add a Condition node before the email to skip items with no customer email address on the board.
