Revel and Slack: Daily Sales Recap Template
A scheduled Spojit workflow that totals the day's Revel orders each evening and posts a clean sales recap to a Slack channel for your store team.
What It Builds
A Schedule trigger fires once every evening on your store's timezone. A Revel Connector node pulls the day's orders, a Transform node tallies the order count, total revenue, and best-selling items, and a Slack Connector node posts the recap to your chosen channel. No one has to open a register report manually.
The Prompt
Paste this into Miraxa and it builds the workflow, connecting the tools for you:
Build a workflow that runs every evening at 9pm. Pull today's orders from Revel, then post a sales recap to the #store-team Slack channel showing the total order count, total revenue, and the top 5 best-selling items for the day.
Connectors Used
- Schedule trigger - runs the recap on a daily cron in your store's timezone.
- Revel - retrieves the day's completed orders and line items.
- Slack - posts the formatted recap message to a channel.
Customize It
Change 9pm to match your closing time, swap #store-team for any channel, and adjust top 5 to however many items you want listed. You can also ask for added fields such as average ticket size, refunds, or a comparison to yesterday's total, all within the same prompt.
Tips
- Run the Slack node in Direct mode so it posts the exact recap with no AI cost; use Agent mode only if you want the message phrased differently each night.
- Confirm your Revel connection has read access to orders for the location you want to report on.
- Set the Schedule timezone explicitly so the cutoff lands at your local close, not UTC.
