MarketMan and Slack: Supplier Order Confirmation Template

A Spojit template that creates a supplier order in MarketMan and posts a confirmation to Slack so your team has a clear record of what was ordered.

What It Builds

A Manual Trigger you run on demand. A MarketMan Connector node (Direct mode) creates a supplier order for the chosen vendor, items, and quantities. A Slack Connector node then posts a confirmation message to your channel listing the vendor, line items, and quantities, giving the team a shared record of every order placed.

The Prompt

Paste this into Miraxa and it builds the workflow, connecting the tools for you:

Build a manually triggered workflow that creates a supplier order in MarketMan for a given vendor with a list of items and quantities, then posts a confirmation to the #purchasing Slack channel showing the vendor name, each item, and its quantity.

Connectors Used

  • Manual Trigger - start the workflow on demand when you place an order.
  • MarketMan - creates the supplier order with vendor, items, and quantities.
  • Slack - posts the order confirmation to your chosen channel.

Customize It

Change #purchasing to the channel your team watches, and adjust the prompt to include extra fields such as the expected delivery date, order total, or the staff member who placed it. You can also have it tag a specific user in Slack so the right person reviews the order.

Tips

  • Keep the MarketMan node in Direct mode for a single, predictable create-order call with no AI cost.
  • Make sure your Slack connection has permission to post in the target channel before you run it.
  • Use the same item names and units as your MarketMan vendor catalog so quantities map cleanly.
