DHL Express and Slack: Daily Pickup Booking Template

Each weekday afternoon this Spojit template books a DHL Express courier pickup for your warehouse and posts the confirmation and pickup window to a Slack channel.

What It Builds

A Schedule trigger fires on weekday afternoons and runs a DHL Express Connector node in Direct mode to book a courier pickup for your collection address. A second Slack Connector node then posts the pickup reference and the requested time window to a channel, so dispatch staff can see at a glance that collection is scheduled.

The Prompt

Paste this into Miraxa and it builds the workflow, connecting the tools for you:

Build a workflow that runs every weekday at 2pm, books a DHL Express courier pickup for our warehouse collection address, and then posts a message to the #dispatch Slack channel with the pickup confirmation number and the scheduled collection window.

Connectors Used

  • Schedule trigger - runs the workflow on a weekday afternoon cron in your timezone.
  • DHL Express - books the courier pickup and returns the confirmation reference and window.
  • Slack - posts the confirmation to your dispatch channel.

Customize It

Adjust the prompt to change the run time, the cron days, the collection address, or the Slack channel. You can also ask it to include the number of pieces or total weight in the message, or to book pickups for multiple warehouse addresses in one run.

Tips

  • Set a clear timezone so the afternoon cron fires at your local time, not UTC.
  • Keep the DHL Express node in Direct mode for a single, predictable booking call with no AI cost.
  • Confirm the Slack connection has permission to post in your dispatch channel before the first run.
