Shopify and Slack: Daily New-Subscriber Recap Template
This Spojit template counts the email-consenting customers who joined your Shopify store each day and posts a tidy subscriber-growth recap to a Slack marketing channel.
What It Builds
A Schedule trigger fires once a day on a cron you set. A Shopify Connector node in Direct mode pulls customers created in the last 24 hours, a Transform node counts the ones who accepted email marketing, and a Slack Connector node posts the total to your chosen channel. No one has to pull the number by hand.
The Prompt
Paste this into Miraxa and it builds the workflow, connecting the tools for you:
Build a workflow that runs every day at 9am and counts the new Shopify customers created in the last 24 hours who consented to email marketing, then posts a recap to the #marketing Slack channel showing the new-subscriber count for the day and the running total.
Connectors Used
- Schedule trigger - runs the recap once a day on a cron schedule and timezone you choose.
- Shopify - reads customers created in the last 24 hours and their email-marketing consent.
- Slack - posts the formatted growth recap to your marketing channel.
Customize It
Change the run time and timezone in the prompt, swap #marketing for any channel, and adjust the window from 24 hours to a weekly digest. You can also ask for extra fields in the message, such as the percentage change versus the prior day or a breakdown by signup source, without writing a second prompt.
Tips
- Your Shopify connection needs read access to customers so the count is accurate.
- Keep the Shopify node in Direct mode for a fast, predictable count with no AI cost; use Agent mode only if you want a written summary.
- Pick a timezone that matches your store so the daily window lines up with your business day.
