Stripe and Resend: Subscription Renewal Reminder Template
A Spojit template that finds Stripe subscriptions renewing soon and emails each subscriber a branded renewal reminder through Resend before the charge lands.
What It Builds
A Schedule trigger runs daily and a Stripe Connector node lists subscriptions whose next billing date falls within your reminder window. A Loop node walks each subscriber, and a Resend Connector node sends a personalized renewal email with the plan name, renewal date, and amount. The result is a friendly heads-up that reduces failed payments and surprise-charge support tickets.
The Prompt
Paste this into Miraxa and it builds the workflow, connecting the tools for you:
Build a workflow that runs every morning at 9am, lists Stripe subscriptions renewing in the next 3 days, and for each one sends the subscriber a branded renewal-reminder email through Resend that includes their name, plan, renewal date, and the amount they will be charged.
Connectors Used
- Schedule trigger - runs the workflow on a daily cron in your time zone.
- Stripe - reads upcoming subscriptions and their renewal amounts.
- Resend - sends the branded reminder from your own verified domain.
Customize It
Change the 3 days window to match how much notice you want, adjust the 9am run time, and edit the email copy or subject line in the prompt. You can also filter to a single plan or price tier, or add the customer's payment-method last four digits so they can confirm the card on file.
Tips
- Use a Stripe key with read access to subscriptions and customers; Resend needs a verified sending domain.
- Keep the Stripe and Resend nodes in Direct mode for predictable, AI-free email sends.
- Add a Condition node to skip subscribers who already updated their card or cancelled.
