Resend and Monday: Offer Letter Acceptance Follow-Up Template

When a candidate accepts an offer, this Spojit template updates your Monday hiring board and sends a first-week welcome email through Resend.

What It Builds

A Webhook trigger fires the moment your offer-letter or applicant-tracking tool reports an acceptance. A Connector node moves the candidate's item to the next stage on your Monday hiring board, and a second Connector node sends a personalized welcome email through Resend. The result: an onboarded record and a warm first touch with zero manual follow-up.

The Prompt

Paste this into Miraxa and it builds the workflow, connecting the tools for you:

Build a workflow that triggers on a webhook when a candidate accepts an offer. Move that candidate's item on my Monday hiring board to the "Accepted" group and set their start date, then send a first-week welcome email via Resend that greets them by name, confirms their role and start date, and lists what to expect on day one.

Connectors Used

  • Webhook trigger - starts the run when your offer or ATS tool posts an acceptance event.
  • Monday - updates the candidate's board item, stage, and start date.
  • Resend - sends the branded first-week welcome email from your own domain.

Customize It

Swap the target group name (for example "Onboarding" instead of "Accepted"), change which Monday columns get written, or rewrite the email body to include benefits links, a manager introduction, or an equipment checklist. You can also add the candidate's start date as a reminder field by naming it in the prompt.

Tips

  • Use Direct mode on each Connector node for one exact action and no AI cost; Agent mode helps if the incoming payload field names vary.
  • Verify your sending domain in Resend so welcome emails land in the inbox, not spam.
  • Secure the webhook with an HMAC signature so only your offer tool can start the workflow.
