Deputy and Resend: Weekly Timesheet Summary Email Template
Each Friday this Spojit template totals approved Deputy hours per employee and emails managers a tidy weekly timesheet summary through Resend.
What It Builds
A Schedule trigger fires every Friday on a cron you set. A Deputy Connector node in Direct mode pulls the week's approved timesheets, a Transform node groups and totals hours per employee, and a Resend Connector node sends the formatted summary to each manager. No one has to open Deputy to see where the week landed.
The Prompt
Paste this into Miraxa, the intelligent layer across your automation, and it builds the workflow and connects the tools for you:
Build a workflow that runs every Friday at 5pm. Pull all approved timesheets from Deputy for the current week, total the hours for each employee, and email a weekly timesheet summary to the team's managers via Resend with each employee's name, role, and total hours.
Connectors Used
- Deputy - reads approved timesheets and hours for the week. Schedule trigger.
- Resend - sends the summary email from your own verified domain.
Customize It
Change the day and time in the prompt (for example a Monday morning recap), adjust the recipient list, or add fields like overtime hours, location, or pay period totals. You can also have Resend send one summary per manager instead of a single combined email.
Tips
- Verify your sending domain in Resend first so the summary lands in the inbox.
- Keep the Deputy node in Direct mode for a predictable, no-AI-cost pull of timesheet data.
- Filter to approved timesheets only so unapproved or draft shifts do not skew the totals.
