Mailhook and Resend: HR Inbox Auto-Acknowledgement Template

Every employee question sent to your HR mailhook address gets an instant, branded acknowledgement reply through Resend while your team picks it up for a real answer.

What It Builds

This Spojit template starts from a Mailhook trigger: HR gets its own dedicated mailhook address, and any email sent there starts a run. A Connector node in Agent mode drafts a short, friendly acknowledgement that references the sender's subject, then a Resend Connector node sends that reply from your own HR domain. The original message stays in your inbox for the team to follow up properly.

The Prompt

Paste this into Miraxa and it builds the workflow, connecting the tools for you:

Build a workflow that triggers when an email arrives at our HR mailhook address. Use AI to write a short, warm acknowledgement that thanks the employee by name, confirms HR has received their message about the subject line, and says someone will reply within one business day. Send that acknowledgement back to the sender through Resend from hr@ourcompany.com, keeping the original subject with "Re:" in front.

Connectors Used

  • Mailhook - the trigger; gives HR a dedicated inbound address that starts a run on every email.
  • Resend - sends the branded acknowledgement reply from your own verified HR domain.

Customize It

Change the reply address, the one-business-day promise, or the tone in the prompt text. You can also have the acknowledgement set expectations differently for benefits, payroll, or leave questions by mentioning those categories in the prompt.

Tips

  • Verify your sending domain in Resend first so replies land in inboxes, not spam.
  • Keep the drafting step in Agent mode so wording stays natural; switch the Resend step to Direct mode for one exact send action.
  • Filter the Mailhook so auto-replies and no-reply senders do not trigger acknowledgement loops.
