Deputy and Resend: Personalized Shift Reminder Email Template

Each morning this Spojit template reads tomorrow's Deputy rosters and sends every scheduled employee a personalized shift reminder through Resend.

What It Builds

A Schedule trigger fires once each morning on a cron you set. A Deputy Connector node pulls the rosters for the next day, a Loop node walks each scheduled shift, and a Resend Connector node emails each employee their start time, end time, and location. Staff arrive on time and no-shows drop, with no manual roster checks.

The Prompt

Paste this into Miraxa and it builds the workflow, connecting the tools for you:

Build a workflow that runs every weekday at 7am, reads tomorrow's published Deputy rosters, and for each scheduled employee sends a personalized shift reminder email through Resend that includes their name, shift start and end time, and the location.

Connectors Used

  • Schedule trigger - runs the workflow on a daily cron in your timezone.
  • Deputy - reads the published rosters for the following day.
  • Resend - sends each personalized reminder from your own verified domain.

Customize It

Change 7am to your preferred send time, or swap weekdays for every day. Adjust the lead window to remind staff about same-day shifts instead of tomorrow's. Edit the email copy in the prompt to add the role, break times, or a manager contact, and tweak the subject line to match your tone.

Tips

  • Resend needs a verified sending domain before delivery works, so connect it first.
  • Run the Deputy read in Direct mode for a predictable roster pull with no AI cost.
  • Make sure each employee record carries a valid email, or add a Condition node to skip blanks.
